This policy describes how Legacy Productions, Inc. (“Giddy”) processes your personal information. It applies to your use of our mobile application and websites, including Giddy.com.
Personal Information
When you sign up for Giddy, you provide us with your name and email address. Later, you can add a profile picture and personalize your content in Giddy by building playlists and saving content to your library. By default, all of this information will be visible to employees of Giddy, and will not be visible to others.
Usage Information
Each time you play a song in Giddy, we will keep a record of the details of the play, including the duration, portions of the track played, date, time, and location when possible. We will use this information to fulfill our legal and contractual obligations to the copyright owners and to continue to refine and improve Giddy and our services. We will share this information in whole or in part with the copyright owners and their respective representatives as needed, including but not limited to their publishers; record labels; publishing administrators; Performing Rights Organization; and to The Mechanical Licensing Collective.
Billing Information
Your billing information will be saved to the native platform you use when you subscribe to Giddy (ex: Google Pay, Apple Pay). See the privacy policies of your respective platform for details. We do not have direct access to your billing information.
Access to Your Information
If your personal information changes, or if you no longer wish us to possess your information, you may request correction, updating, or deletion of your information by contacting us through our web form on the Contact section of our website at Giddy.com.
Security
We follow accepted industry standards to protect any personal information you provide to us. However, please be aware that no method of electronic storage can ever be 100% secure. Therefore - as is the case with any organization - we are not in a position to guarantee the absolute security of your information. Nevertheless, the security of your information is extremely important to us, and we will do all we can to ensure a safe experience.
Children
To become a user of the Giddy application, you must be at least 18 years of age or, or at least 13 with parental consent. Giddy is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect or use personal data from children under the age of 13. If you're under 18 and do not have parental consent, please do not use Giddy, and do not provide any personal data to us. If you’re a parent and become aware that your child has provided personal data to Giddy, please contact us.
If we learn that we’ve collected the personal data of a child under 13, or without required parental consent, we’ll take reasonable steps to delete the personal data. This may require us to delete the associated account.
Legal Disclaimer
We reserve the right to disclose your personally identifiable information as required by law and when we believe that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights and/or to comply with a judicial proceeding, court order or legal process served on our service. Other than these cases, we will not sell, share, trade, give, or in any other way distribute your personal information to any third party without your consent, except if required by law or in connection with a sale of our business to a successor or affiliate.
Updates
Giddy may make changes to this privacy policy from time to time by notifying you of such changes by any reasonable means, including by posting the revised terms on our website or within our mobile application.
